Secret Press USA is a new small press organization located in New Hampshire.
 
 

This organization exists for the following purposes:

1. To publish poetry anthologies.

2. To organize poetry reading events in every state.

Origin

Secret Press USA was founded by Jason Gray, a native of New England, late in the Summer of 2007. Jason is a 2004 graduate of Franklin Pierce University, with a double major BA in Mass Communications (Journalism concentration), and English (Writing concentration). He has over three years experience in daily and weekly newspaper journalism. He is an aspiring novelist and poet, with a few poems published in small publications.

For nearly four years, Jason contemplated starting some form of poetry or writing organization. After mulling over a dozen or more ideas, he finally decided to start Secret Press USA.

The theme for the first anthology is how people see America. The book will feature poems by writers from each state. Poems will be written on political topics, observations of daily life, people, and physical locations.

Once the anthology is complete, there will be a series of Poetry Readings in every state. We hope to have the first anthology available by this Spring.
